For students

Have you run it through Resolve EQ™ yet?

The roommate you're not really talking to. The text you've rewritten five times. The thing you keep doing, even though you said you'd stop.

Resolve EQ™ is a private coach that turns what you're going through into real EQ skills, so you walk away knowing what you want, what to say, and how to say it.

Available through partner colleges and universities.

A Resolve EQ coaching conversation with an EQ insight

Whatever it is, start here.

“My roommate and I haven't really talked in a week.” “I need to tell my friend something hard.” “I can't stop replaying what happened.” “I don't know if I should say anything at all.” “I keep doing the thing I said I'd stop doing.”

Why it matters

When something's weighing on you, it's hard to focus on anything else.

A roommate you're avoiding. A falling-out with a friend. Tension at home. It follows you to class, to practice, even into sleep. Resolve EQ™ helps you work through it, so you can get back to campus life.

Focus in class

Less replaying what happened, more room for lectures, studying, and exams.

Your best work

Your energy goes back into your classes, your projects, and your goals.

Enjoying campus life

Feel more at home with your roommates, friends, and teammates, and more like yourself.

The skills that keep friendships

“How do I resolve conflict peacefully? How do I give and how do I receive feedback? How do I have an effective confrontation without creating a massive fight or losing a friendship? … These very, very human skills are the things we’re already starting to see suffering.”

Simon Sinek · The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett

Working through conflict, giving and taking feedback, owning your part. Resolve EQ™ helps you practice these skills on the real conflicts in your life.

How it works

One step at a time. You do the thinking.

Resolve EQ™ doesn't hand you a script or tell you who's right. It asks the next good question, so you can see the whole picture and decide for yourself.

1

Say what happened

In your own words. Type it or say it out loud. No wrong way to start.

2

See it from every side

What you need, what part you played, and what might be going on for them.

3

Get ready

Plan what you want to say. Or, if the conflict is with yourself, make a plan you can actually keep.

4

Reach out

When you're ready, let them know you'd like to talk. Or take the step you planned.

5

Look back

Come back after and reflect on how it went. See the skills you practiced, named.

Two paths

Some conflicts are with other people. Some are with yourself.

When it's between you and someone else, Resolve EQ™ helps you prepare for a real conversation. When it's inside you, like a habit, a choice, or a feeling you keep fighting, it helps you build a small, specific plan and stick with it.

When you're ready

It gets you ready. Then it helps you reach out.

The hardest part is often the first message. Once you've prepared, Resolve EQ™ can let the other person know you'd like to talk, so you're not staring at a blank text wondering how to start.

You choose if and when it goes out. They don't need the app to get it. And if you both want to, you can talk it through in Resolve EQ™ too.

You're ready

You've worked through it and know what you want to say. Want to let Jordan know you'd like to talk?

Let them know Not yet

To Jordan

Alex would like to talk with you when you're ready.

Example only. Names are made up.

For students at partner schools

A direct line to your school

When it's bigger than a conversation, your school is one tap away.

Some conflicts aren't yours to handle alone, like a problem with a professor, a coach, or someone on staff. When that happens, Resolve EQ™ shows you the right offices on your campus and asks one question: would you like someone at your school to know you may want support?

You don't have to find the right office, write an email, or explain it all again.

Say yes

A staff member learns you may want support. That's all they're told. They won't see what you wrote.

Say no

Nothing is sent. You keep working through it here, and you can still reach those offices yourself.

This is not a complaint or a formal report. It's a way to raise your hand.

What you'll learn

Skills that last longer than the conflict.

Every session builds emotional intelligence: the skills that shape your friendships, your relationships, and your career. They're also the skills no app can do for you. The goal is skills you own, so you can handle what comes up without going back to an app every time.

Saying the hard thing with care

Being honest without starting a fight.

Hearing it without shutting down

Taking feedback and staying in the room.

Seeing the other side

Understanding someone, even when you still disagree.

Naming your own part

Owning what's yours, and only what's yours.

Staying steady when it's heated

Noticing what you feel before it decides for you.

Preparing before it matters

Walking in knowing what you want to say.

What your grades don't show

“Nowhere on your transcript does it say that you are good at collaboration. You are a good listener.”

Sal Khan · Founder, Khan Academy · TED Intersections with Esther Perel

Your grades show what you know. Resolve EQ™ helps you build what they leave out: listening, working through conflict, and staying close to people who see it differently.

Your growth

From awareness to mastery.

Every conflict you work through moves you a little further along.

Awareness

You notice what you're feeling and what set it off.

Understanding

You can see your part, and theirs.

Practice

You try new ways of handling it. It gets easier every time.

Mastery

You handle it on your own, in the moment.

Everyone starts somewhere different. Wherever you are is your starting point.

Awareness. You notice what you're feeling and what set it off.

Understanding. You can see your part, and theirs.

Practice. You try new ways of handling it. It gets easier every time.

Mastery. You handle it on your own, in the moment.

More reps, more growth

Every conflict is practice.

The more you work through, the stronger the skills get, from awareness to mastery. You're building skills for yourself, so you don't have to keep going back to an app for answers.

Ready for what's next

No one knows exactly what the future holds. But as AI takes on more of the work, human skills matter more than ever.

Use Resolve EQ™ to build the skills that make you better in class, in your career, and with the people you care about.

What employers look for

“When we look to hire people at Anthropic today, we look for people who are great communicators, who have excellent EQ and people skills, who are kind and compassionate and curious…”

Daniela Amodei · Co-founder, Anthropic · ABC News Live

The people building AI are hiring for EQ. The skills you practice in Resolve EQ™ are the ones they’re looking for.

Why not just ask a regular AI app?

You probably already do. Here's the difference.

Most AI is built to agree with you. Researchers call it AI sycophancy: it tells you you're right, takes your side, and calls it support. When you're in a conflict, that can make things worse. Resolve EQ™ is built to be honest with you, kindly.

Resolve EQ™

Tells you what you want to hear

Tells you what you need to hear, and helps you see your part and theirs

Gives you answers

Asks the questions that get you to your own

An open chat that goes wherever

A step-by-step path through the conflict

No one there if things get serious

Looks out for your safety, with real support ready if you ever need it

Nothing to show for it after

Names the skills you built

Keeps you coming back for answers

Builds skills that are yours, so you can handle it on your own

Even the maker of ChatGPT says so

“There’s young people who just say, ‘I can’t make any decision in my life without telling ChatGPT everything that’s going on… I’m going to do whatever it says.’ That feels really bad to me.”

Sam Altman · CEO, OpenAI · Federal Reserve fireside chat

Resolve EQ™ doesn’t make your decisions for you. It helps you think it through, so the decision is yours.

Insight

See yourself more clearly.

As you work through it, Resolve EQ™ points out what it notices in your thinking. Not generic tips. Real observations about what you just said.

When you finish, you see the skills you practiced, named, so you know exactly what you got better at.

EQ Insight

Assuming they didn't realize, instead of assuming they didn't care, is a powerful shift. It opens the door to a conversation instead of a confrontation.

Not a full conflict? Just need to think out loud before you text back? Advice Mode is a private sounding board for everyday moments. Quick, low-key, and only for you.

My Journey

Watch yourself grow.

Every session, every skill, every insight, in one place that belongs to you. Look back and see how far you've come.

Every week

Something new to learn.

Each week, a new pick from the HappiYou™ resource library shows up on your home screen. A short read or activity that teaches another EQ skill, even when nothing's going wrong.

Your privacy

Yours, and only yours.

Your school brings you Resolve EQ™. What you write here still stays with you.

Your words stay private

No one else reads what you write. Your school only sees campus-wide trends, never anyone's conversations.

You decide who hears from you

Want to let the other person know you'd like to talk? You choose if and when. Nothing goes out without you.

Your growth is yours

The skills you build and the insights you earn belong to you.

Looking out for you

If something you share suggests you might not be safe, Resolve EQ™ pauses and shows you people you can reach right away. It also lets your campus support team know you need support. They're told you need help, but they're not given what you wrote.

Resolve EQ™ is a coach, not a therapist. It works alongside counseling, including your campus counseling center, not instead of it.
